Karyn Williams, A Brooklyn native born and raised in Bed-Stuy/Crown Heights, I obtained my BSN from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing in Manhattan. After practicing critical care nursing in New York, New Jersey, and Georgia, I became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist graduating from Harlem Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses. In conjunction with this program, I obtained my Masters in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. In my practice of over 25 years, I have incorporated a multimodal approach regarding pain management. This approach is widely accepted now that the medical profession has made public the negative impact the opioid epidemic has had on healthcare. I have been an advocate of herbal/alternative medicine for the last 10 years. I have obtained certification in the medical use of cannabis. I am also a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. I am an advocate for patient education regarding the safety and efficacy of cannabis use for both medicinal and recreational use. I am also interested in learning how to incorporate cannabis with my passion for culinary creations and libations.
Eric S. Pierson, CO-Founder, Assist in over 350 cases per week. as a Lead Endoscopic Technologist. Eric has been in this field for over 25 Years. In 2006 he acquired his Endoscopic Ultrasonography Certification from Duke University Health System Education Services Department. In 2007 he became a GI Technical Specialist by acquired his Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Certification. He Assists Physician & Nurse’s with Endoscopic Procedures EGD, Colons, ERCP’s, EUS In procedure room, Bedsides, and OR cases. He also assists Physicians/ Surgeons in procedure rooms at bedside in emergency rooms, ER, and OR settings. Eric cares for specimens as directed by Physician. He’s responsible for maintaining orderliness of Endoscopy suite, Order Endoscopic supplies, equipment, and inventory. He is responsible for Supplies, and capital ordering, and inventory tracking for the day-to-day operations. via SAP/STRATA program which allows him to maintain par levels for the Endoscopy Unit / Liver. and Motility services in a hospital setting that Endoscopic Technologist reprocessing and sterilization. He participates, illustrate, and teaches different techniques during preceptorship, and live course case presentations. Eric also does medical billing and coding consulting for various Doctors’ offices in the Washington Heights and Bronx areas for over 10 years. In 2021 Eric Joined the Board of Directors of a non-for-profit organization “Giant Thinking” that specializes in physical fitness, and mental wellness for the youths in the Harlem and Bronx communities.
Joseph Fobbs Is a real-estate, Broker/ property manager, tax and small business consultant. in New York City. The primary goal is to educate clients on the inner workings of New York City’s real-estate market, small business & marketing growth, and financial viability. after Four years of College at Cortland State University, Joseph embarked in the field of Risk Management and Finance. Joseph worked in the Derivatives market, which at the time was a new financial service product, introduced to the financial markets. He then went on to work in the Treasury Administration field in the Wall Street, and Rockefeller Center areas. He was responsible for corporate mergers and acquisitions of real estate assisting Legal partners, junior partners, and paralegals. He developed an interest in real-estate especially real estate investing, and took the opportunity began his real-estate career.
Joseph moved to Rochester, New York. where he continued working in real estate. During this time, he was presented with yet another professional development opportunity in the Insurance field, and enrolled in courses and became a licensed P & C Insurance Agent. Joseph decided to return to New York City six years later where he continued in the P & C market as an Insurance Broker, where he formed JB Sloan Incorporated. He then embarked on the Tax preparation field at Newkirk & Associates. At the same time, he went back to became a Real-estate broker, under JB Sloan Incorporated and opened a real estate office in Harlem. During that time Mr. Fobbs was a consultant for various Condo Board Associations, and HDFC Co-op Boards throughout New York City.
In 2016 Joseph started a successful consulting firm that specializes in Revenue Cycle Management, Documentation and Coding Training, and Accounting and Tax Preparation.
Joseph Was a member of the Bradhurst Merchants Association where he served as VP. Currently Joseph serves as the Treasurer at Bethany Day Nursery, the nonprofit sponsor for Mary Walton Day Care Center; an organization that cares for children between the ages of 3 and 4 in the Bradhurst community, a position that he has held for the past few years. Recently Joseph was accepted the role, as consultant for the non-for-profit organization Diva’s & Don’s, a community organization focused on the education, development, and the advancement of minority communities in NYC.
